thru wooded hill and dale a sight I thought I'd never see right there in the trail a couple was a-coupling they were there in the path I had no choice but to step over struggling not to laugh they were surprised to see me coming down the trail and so was I to see them there his cheeks they were so pale as I walked past I glanced at them he had his face well hidden she looked at me while lying there and said "you've got to be kidden" I don't recall the fish that day I had my bait and rod but this will always stick with me she gave a wink and nod. |
